Brian E. Code, CLU, AEP, CFP®
Brian Code received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of South Florida. Prior to entering the financial services field, he worked for Arthur Young and Company, CPAs and was an internal auditor with Jim Walter Corporation. Brian is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He has been awarded the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He also carries the Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation and holds certification as a Special Care Planner. Brian is a member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council and National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
Brian and his wife Karen have three children. He is active in his church and involved in the community and served in the U. S. Army Reserve for six years. He has been very active in junior golf organizations and served as President of the Greater Tampa Junior Golf Association for seven years. All three of his children played golf for the University of Florida, and he was named Golfweek magazine’s 2003 National Father of the Year. When not playing golf, he is often playing competitive hockey. Other interests include traveling, skiing, and spending time outdoors.
Jordan P. Code, CLU, ChFC, CFP®
Jordan Code received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida. He was a member of the University of Florida Men’s Golf Team, named captain his senior year, and played on both an SEC Championship team and an NCAA Championship team.
Prior to entering the financial services field, he worked for PolyGard, Inc. as an Assistant Controller. He obtained his insurance license in 2002. In 2007 Jordan received the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). Jordan earned the Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2008. Jordan is a member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council and is also a Tampa Connection alumnus.
Jordan and his wife Paige have four children. In addition to playing golf, Jordan plays competitive hockey. Other interests include hunting and fishing.
Scott T. Waechter, CFP®, CFA
Scott Waechter graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida as a fourth generation Gator.
Prior to joining us in 2007, Scott worked for Siemens Power Generation as a design engineer. He obtained the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 2009. In 2010, Scott was awarded the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and became a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charter holder in 2011.
Scott and his wife Whitney have nine children. He is a sports enthusiast and DIY handyman.
Michael Stump, CFP®, CFA
Michael Stump graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with a Concentration in Finance. While at UVA, Michael founded the racquetball club and was named captain of the team.
Michael began his career at KLH Capital, a private equity firm based in Tampa, Florida, rising to the position of Vice President, and was responsible for identifying, structuring and executing transactions, due diligence and financial analysis, and portfolio management. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation in 2016 and obtained his Florida insurance license in 2019. Additionally, he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2019.
From climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to shark diving, Michael has always been an avid adventurer, and he desires to see the new seven wonders of the world. He is an active member at his church and enjoys escape rooms and various competitive sports. Michael and his wife Lindsey have two children.
